BMW, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota have reportedly agreed to settle class action lawsuits related to a Takata airbag defect.
They would require the airbag maker to pay up to $1 billion in penalties over allegations of criminal wrongdoing.
Class Members include anyone who owned or leased any of the subject vehicles in the United States as of June 9, 2017, and anyone who formerly owned and/or leased the subject vehicles and who sold or returned the subject vehicles between April 11, 2013 and June 9, 2017.
